Licensing & pricing
GSP is licensed per database dialect — not per developer. Tell us which dialects you need and we'll send a quote, usually within one business day.
How the license works
- Licensed by database dialect, not by developer. You license the SQL dialects your product needs — Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and so on. There is no per-seat counting: any number of developers in your organization can build with GSP.
- Lifetime license — it never expires. The license is perpetual. The version you license keeps working forever, with no forced renewal.
- Annual support & maintenance: 20% of the license fee. Covers every new release (GSP ships weekly), all upgrades, and priority email support from the engineers who build the parser.
- Redistributing GSP inside your product? A separate distribution fee applies. See the Distribution License Agreement (PDF) — mention redistribution in your quote request and we'll include it.
How to buy
Purchasing is quote-based so the license matches exactly what you need — no paying for dialects you'll never parse. The process:
- 1 — Request a quote. Use the form below — edition (Java or .NET), the dialects you need, and whether you'll redistribute. We reply with a formal quote.
- 2 — Evaluate on your own SQL. The free trial is a public Maven/NuGet package — no registration. Or send us a SQL sample and we'll run it for you.
- 3 — Pay the way your company prefers. We accept purchase orders (Net 30 / 45 / 60), bank wire transfer, and online credit-card payment.

Common questions
- Can we add more dialects later? Yes — additional dialects can be licensed at any time and added to your existing license.
- Do you work with resellers and purchasing departments? Yes. We regularly process orders through resellers and corporate procurement, including POs with Net 30/45/60 terms. See our partners page.
- What agreement governs the license? The General SQL Parser License Agreement (PDF); redistribution is governed by the Distribution License Agreement above.
